I was surprised how spacious the room was! It was big enough to enjoy spending time in the evenings in the room - not like the other hotels I stayed at, where I only slept because it was so tiny. The room had a small table and even a balcony! The staff was extremely friendly and the room was cleaned every day. They also supplied us with free water bottles, more tea bags and fresh towels every day. The location was good too, a short walk to the subway and in walking distance to the old city. I definitely recommend staying here!

Loved the coffee station and the kitchen space, there are books and board games for guests to use. The room was very clean and comfortable, we had a room with a shared bathroom and the shower and toilet were always very clean. The cafe downstairs is also a nice space, great coffee and French toast!

Excellent, kind, and helpful host. Emiko and her family had great English and the inn was very welcoming and comfortable. I was even driven to Kyoto station once my stay was complete which was a great help. Excellent value for money and a ideal location to see many nearby temples and shrines. Lots of nature sightseeing opportunities close by as well. I highly recommend a stay at Kyo-Anthu Inn!

The tea and coffee that were included were nice. The room itself was nice and spacious. Beds are comfortable and the hotel is fairly close to transit.

Really friendly staff !! Great location to explore Kyoto right 2 min walk from nishiki market and lots of shops and 10 min trains to lots of famous tourist sites . Room was clean and comfortable along with all facilities !!
