The people running this place are so nice and polite, it was so lovely to talk to them ☺️ The hostel is very clean and cozy and has all the facilities needed, including a spacious dining room, kitchen, bathroom, toilet and a washing room. It's perfect for women, they have a lot of self-care products which you can freely use there, hair dryers, towels, hangers, free WiFi, tea and coffee... basically, everything you need when traveling. It's also very close to a metro station and a convenient store. Definitely recommend staying there ❤️

Look, I've travelled to many many countries. Some five-star hotels, some four, three, some hostels, pensions, homestays, everything. This is probably my favourite stay ever. (When not travelling...) I work as a Recruiter and a thing I always want to see in people is "passion". There is no doubt that a lot of passion is put into this place. The girl manages everything, gives you recommendations, and tries to help you every time. She even woke up before 5 am because she was afraid I would lose my flight!! Everything is very clear, very well explained, and the house has everything I could have expected. More in fact. I even extended my stay because everything was so comfortable to me, and I also loved the location, right in the middle of "real Osaka," how and where locals live. I have no doubt that I will return to Osaka, and one of the reasons is to return to this house that felt like home. I couldn't be more satisfied with everything, and I really wish they can achieve everything they want from this place (btw, you can charge a higher price!! It's too cheap for the place it is 😅).

This guesthouse is in a very central location, about a 5 - 10 minute walk from Tsurubashi. It is easily accessible. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The kitchenette and bathroom were very clean and easy to use.

Charming guest house with traditionally equipped cozy rooms. Good and quite neighborhood, just 2 minutes walking from the station. Very clean rooms and all common spaces, tasty breakfasts, and most importantly the owner who makes you feel like you are at home! If you need comfortable accommodation and moreover want to feel local traditions and culture, I am definitely recommend to stay at this wonderful place with Japanese soul

Great for groups of 4 or 5, and the value for money is great. Close by to Umeda Sky and a short walk away from many shopping places. Comfortable beds, great amenities. Clean Bathroom. It is also located in a quiet neighbourhood.

Jakotel was spotless clean. I did not know what to expect at first but upon entering it was clear that the place is well maintained. Both my room and the common areas and the bathroom were exceptionally clean. Probably one of the cleanest I have stayed at, especially given the value for money. The area is also home to many exceptional restaurants and cafes (just down the street to the south there is an okonomiyaki place with a Michelin star that is extremely good, and to the north there is a small takoyaki cafe that I also really liked).

This was my second time staying with Yuji and Ryo, and it remains one of the best experiences I’ve had in Japan. As a female solo traveller, I felt completely safe and cared for. The hosts were incredibly kind, treating me more like a friend than a guest. They went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable, sharing advice about the city and pointing me toward lesser-known spots to explore. The space was clean, cosy, and thoughtfully prepared. While the location is a little out of the way, it offers a peaceful atmosphere in an old-school district that feels like stepping back in time. I loved exploring the neighborhood, discovering authentic kissatens (Japanese coffee shops) and delicious udon spots nearby. I felt at home throughout my stay and am so grateful for Yuji and Ryo’s warmth and hospitality. I’ll always choose to stay here whenever I’m in Osaka and highly recommend it to anyone visiting!
