Rangala House is a very special place. The setting is so peaceful and beautiful, with a panoramic view that changes almost every time you blink. The staff are wonderful. Amala will help you with whatever you need and there is always someone around to serve drinks and food and to chat to about the gorgeous surroundings. They organised an Ayurvedic massage for us with a local man which was wonderful. Anthony, the owner, is incredibly warm and welcoming and a joy to be around. The chefs deserve a very special mention. The food at Rangala House was probably the best we had throughout the month we spent in Sri Lanka. As two backpackers travelling on a budget, we are so happy we decided to splurge a little and stay here - it was worth every penny. Thank you all!

The owner is absolutely amazing. He helps with everything. Do not organize plans alone. It's much better to ask him for advice. The house and equipment are better then it looks on photos. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

The staff was amazingly friendly! It was absolutely calm and quiet, so perfect to relax! We really liked that there is only 4 rooms😍 the breakfast was delicious (you can choose between Sri Lankan or western, we did both once). Rooms were very clean! Also you can order food from the other hotel nearby, so no need to go out for dinner.

We had a wonderful stay! The view is breathtaking, the room was amazingly clean and fresh with comfortable bed. The whole family was so helpful and kind, even helped us with food when we arrived late and hungry. Our best stay in sri lanka so far. Very clean room, very nice and huge bathroom. You can almost get lost in the bathroom ;-). The owner is super friendly and eager to tell you all about Kandy and a lot more. The breakfast is served on a big balcony and it tastes wonderfull! Great place to stay, easy walk to the city center.
