We really liked the accomodation, waking up to the beautiful view from the terrace was amazing. Also the breakfast was tasty, and the staff very kind. When we were picked up to go to Yala Safari, we got sandwiches for the way and checked out at 3 a.m. Very kind, thank you!

Winwood Ella is an absolute gem! The location is fantastic — close enough to explore everything in town, yet tucked away just enough to enjoy peace and quiet. One of the highlights for me was sitting on the balcony and watching animals casually wander past — such a unique and calming experience. It truly felt like being in harmony with nature. We are very happy to be the first local guest to stay in this accommodation.This is our first experience staying at a homestay. Wingate Homestay is a perfect place to stay in Ella. It is close to the Ella town (5min walking distance) and the Railway station, nine arch bridge and Little Adams peak. The room was very pleasant, it was cozy and clean.The bathroom is very impressive and The hot water shower is really great.The room and bathroom are very modern. Breakfast was excellent. Lunch was served very deliciously with our favorite dishes. They provided tea and coffee in the morning and evening. Fresh fruit juice are served in the afternoon.The owner has always been friendly, patient and helpful. That impressed me the most.The price is also very reasonable.

The owner, Asanka, met us on the road and took us to the hotel. At that moment, there was a power cut in the area and Asanka did everything to make our evening wonderful - he lit candles so that there was light, prepared tea for us and treated us to a pie. He really wanted us to be comfortable, it's very nice! Soon the electricity returned. the rooms were clean, nice neat bed, clean bathroom, shower with hot water! Each room had bottled drinking water. In the morning you can see an amazing view from the balcony - you can see the mountains, the waterfall, on the other hand you can look at the train (they don't run at night, so we slept great). There were no mosquitoes and flies! We also had a wonderful breakfast in the morning! There was tea, milk, scrambled eggs, toast with butter and jam, and a wide variety of fruits. Thank you Asanka for your concern!
