The host Kalahara is kind and helpful and treats guests as his family.Nothing is too much for him. PROPERTY: Lovely homestay surrounded by trees and lovely garden.The room was spotlessly clean, spacious and airy. All the facilities like hot water, airconditioning, water pressure etc was perfect. BREAKFAST:Our breakfast was included and it was the best we had in Srilanka.Its varied everyday and its plentiful and very tasty.(SEE PHOTOS) We had 2 dinners cooked by his wife and they were delicious and generous portions. TOURS: Host Kalhara will organize tours at reasonable rate and his driver is a very nice person. we did a tour and driver was very patient and took us around paddy fields. What an amazing experience! We came here for 3 nights after reading all these wonderful reviews. I have travelled a lot of places, but never ever have I actually thought of coming back to a place I have been already. That was until I stayed in Visu Villa. I was very sad to leave, because everything was just perfect. Ruwan and his team did everything they could to make our stay so perfect and always with a smile on their face. We felt very welcome, had a great room, the pool was nice and clean. The food was incredible, the evenings with a nice atmosphere. We also got a private safari where we spotted many elephants for a fair price and a tour around the village and even a lift to our next destination. Free of charge. Ruwan is the best host I have ever met. You can never find a better place to stay than here. ☺️ Thanks again to the whole team and we wish you all the best!

What a lovely place to stay, wish it was longer. Air con worked great. Friendly dog that guarded our room at night, so cute. Our host was lovely, calling us the day before to get the check in time right. And also made us a late delicious breakfast after we came back from our safari.

The place has beautiful garden and is owned by very kind family. Although our train got delayed an hour, the father awaited us on station with his tuk tuk. The next day he has driven us around for sightseeing of Pidurangala (best view of Sigiriya), Damballa Rock Temple, visit in Herbs Garden, massages at Ayurveda center. The place itself was very nice (super clean) and breakfast - delicious!! 😋

We enjoyed staying at Heaven Habarana which opened just a few months ago. Such a lovely place. The host and his wife were really nice and caring. They prepared fresh breakfast everyday. The location is in the center of Habarana, only two minutes walk to restaurants, peoples bank, petrol station etc. Definitely worth staying there! Habarana is a perfect alternative to Sigiriya (lions rock is not far away from Habarana).

Sunanda was a super friendly host. The place is very calm, behind his spice & herb garden and right next to the jungle. There are a lot of Birds and Butterflies, sometimes Giant Squirrels and Monkeys but no dangerous animals. The rooms are simple but comfortable and there are moskito nets. Sunanda gave us a lot of tips and arranged a few activities for us without ever being pushy. We went on a Safari to the national Park and on Pidurangala Rock and really enjoyed those trips.
