This was the perfect place to stay in Kandy. Up in the hills with a balcony area where I enjoyed my coffee while watching monkeys, birds and surrounding nature. Also a great night's sleep ok a comfy bed with no noise except the rain on the roof. Suraj, the host, is freindly and accommodating, never hesitating to attend or answer questions I had. The room had good WiFi that I used to work from and take Skype calls. And the bathroom had hot water to shower. I booked two night initially but stayed an extra two.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Kandy. The room was spacious and very clean, including the washroom which was well maintained and stocked with shampoo and body wash. The hot shower was excellent—just what I needed after a long day. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful, which made my stay even more pleasant. The garden was a real highlight, full of fruit trees like avocado, mango, and banana. In the morning, I loved watching birds and squirrels visit the trees—it was such a peaceful and beautiful experience. Thank you for the lovely hospitality. I would definitely recommend this place to others!

Jay's location was perfect and it had such a beautiful view. The room is equipped with everything you need and Jay is a pleasant and likeable host. Jay arranged a tasty breakfast for us with two options: Sri Lankan or continental. Apart from that, Jay was available on WhatsApp if we had any questions or requests. I definitely recommend this place if you have a personal driver or a tuk tuk, The location is close to the Kandy Sacred Tooth Temple.

We had a great time at the Tenthola. We felt very comfortable. The room and also the terrace - with a really great view - have been super clean. The host offered us a welcome - drink and the breakfast was great! The host also had many recommendations for what to do in and around Kandy. We can highly recommend this accomodation!
