Amazing property. Wish we had booked for longer! Great pool with lots of sun loungers and beanbags. Owner is also a chef. We had a wonderful breakfast and wish we had more time to experience his cooking for lunch or dinner. Were also very helpful arranging Yala safari for us ☺️

It was a very beautiful and peaceful place. Well located if you are visiting Yala national park. The place was very clean. We loved the common area. I would point out the hospitability of the hosts, Karen and Shanta were very attentive and lovely with us. 10/10 :)

I had an amazing stay at V Cabanas! The host is a great person. I was scammed during a safari and when I came to V Cabanas the day after, the host and his friend figured out how I was scammed (I was taken for a "safari" out of the official Yala Park). They offered to take me to the police and they did all the communications for me. He and his friend treated me like I never was before in all my travels. If you need to feel in safe hands and that you will find help when needed, come here. The accomodation it self is excellent. Super clean room and bed sheets, with new modern bathroom. I have only positives to say about the hosts and the room it self!

It is a modest but wonderful accommodation close to Yala National Park. The accommodation is run by a very nice family. Everyone is still smiling and offering sweet tea. Here you feel more like a welcome member of the family than just a guest. The room has everything you need. There is a comfortable bed a fan and a clean bathroom. There is a wonderful quiet sitting area outside with a view of the rice field. Here you can watch the birds feeding. What more could a traveler ask for? At the end of my stay they went with me to the main street and made sure I got on the right bus. Thanks for that! It was great at your place! Thank you for your hospitality and for the perfect chat in the morning with the view from your garden! I really appreciate it. It was great! I wish you many happy guests and good luck with your plans to expand your business with more tables in your restaurant! I keep my fingers crossed for you! Great job! The best stay in Sri Lanka. The host was very attentive and kind. The room was very clean and big, and had a safari vibe🙂. The food was absolutely delicious - fish with pineapples was my favourite. The host organised our safari, wake us in early morning, gave us breakfast to go, and we had lunch after trip. We met an elephant on way back to hotel, and fed him with bananas. So I recommend not to eat bananas and save it for elephants) I’d recommend to stay there for 2 or 3 days, cause after safari you want to rest and lay in hammock. I”ll return to stay here, I’m sure)

We didn't sleep at the cabin because there was a problem with the booking but the host did everything to organise a place to sleep. We had 2 wonderful safaris on a motorbike and Danushka was an amazing guide with a lot knowledge. We could take a look at the cabin and it was a wonderful place with great view and a pond nearby.

This is one of the nicest home stay/guest house we have stayed in Sri Lanka. It’s very different, with rice fields around. The gardens are lovely & peaceful. The unit is very well presented and it a bit different. The host, Shantha is very obliging with food. We stayed there while doing a safari at Yala National Park & it was close enough to enjoy the surroundings. We highly recommend Yaye Guest House
