There was a small mix up with the booking on our arrival, however the manager sorted it right out and could not have been more accommodating for our whole stay. He checked up on us multiple times and even drove us himself to our next destination.

My stay at Loma Linda Hostel in playa gigante was the highlight of my trip to Nicaragua. It was so nice that I didn’t want to leave and kept extending. Jenny and her family are incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel as though I was staying with friends. The hostel’s rooms are simple yet clean. But what really makes this Place Special is the familyconnection. This is what made the experience far more enriching than any five-star hotel could offer. You come as a guest and leave as a friend. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful. During my time there, I met two other nice travelers. We sometimes also dined together with the Family in the evenings, engaging in conversations about Nicaragua and local life, which also helped me improve my Spanish. When I return to Gigante, I will undoubtedly stay at this wonderful guesthouse again. Many thanks to Jenny, Walter and the Sweet Little Girl Walkyria for this special time. I highly recommend this hostel to everyone—support the locals!

The friendly and open heart owner Rafa is an exceptional host!!! From the 1st minute we arrived he was very helpful, enthusiastic and welcomed us kindly. I could see the people that come to his place are in a safe and kind hands and he helped a few travellers with their medical issues whilst I stayed there. The rooms are very clean and cleaned regularly if u stay more than 2 nights. They are equipped by A/C and very comfty beds. The breakfast were the most delicious from what I got in Nicaragua, they were so rich and variable that filled u up until late afternoons, they were basically lunch!! 😀❤️ come here and your stay in SJDS will be unique and u will have a true feeling, u are at home surrounded by kind and sincere family!!🙏🙏😎
