We loved everything about this little hotel. It is a true gem for the cost. The staff were excellent; alwyas helpful and were happy to store our luggage on the day of arrival. The room was clean, comfy and lovely. We were in the older section of the hotel which had a lovely living room where you could sit and read. There was cake, fruit and coffe availabe all day, and an honour bar if you wanted a drink. Breakfast was excellent, The pool looked lovely but we were there in Febraury and so did not use it. But we did sit on the patio and in the gardens. It took about 10 minutes to walk into the old town and we always felt safe.

Chalet Ficalho was absolutely gorgeous, it exceeded every expectation. The garden and the pool were stunning and so relaxing, the owners were delightful to be around and the Chalet in itself is a gem, with wonderfully decorated and restored interiors and very confortable rooms. Will definitely be back & recommend 100% !

I’m officially in love here, I’ll come much more often. Owner Carlos is a tremendously kind gentleman and excellent operator. Every detail has been thought out perfectly, they seem to have established this place not to make money, but to reflect their own business vision. I would love to have a house like this, it’s a very inspiring place. I’m sure I’ll escape here every time I need to relax. thank you very much Carlos for creating such an opportunity.

Location was really good. Right on the beach and close to the shops, bars a restaurants. The staff were wonderfully warm and welcoming. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was good. We had a good selection of delicious bread and pastries to choose from.

Very peaceful et beautiful place. The bed are really comfortable and the view is amazing. Everything is very clean. We felt at home. The lady who welcomed us was lovely.
