Everyone was super nice and especially the lady who owns it. She also provided us with great hints where to go and how to do it with a cheap but comfortable way, she even organised some trips for is for free 😁 We enjoyed our staying and had a big room (probably the biggest of all) and a nice bathroom with a great shower. We were close to the beach, but no sunbeds, but the landlady will organise you either a taxi to get you to some resorts where you can spend the day or tells you where are some nearby.

The nicest guest houses in this area I’ve been to in terms of the clean modern rooms, location, towels! shower, location, roof terrace and attitude, welcome. Also a shout out to any Africans, Senegalese who want a warm, gracious welcome with no vibe (no racism 😩😢) Go here ! I’m English and Samba is Gambian but we live here some of the year. During the past 3 years we have experienced some very uncomfortable weeks in guest houses run by French owners on a number of occasions where the owners don’t seem too friendly to Samba. He always finds out what’s going on because the staff warm to him and tell him. It’s very disrespectful how many Senegalese (and Africans) are being treated this way in their own country.

The manager Lucia welcomed us and offered to cook us a meal for dinner even if it was last minute. The food was delicious and the service as well. The Villa is decorated with a lot of taste. The owner made sure to buy all furniture (custom made) and home decor locally and it is just beautiful. The pool area and the flower gardens are lovely.

I liked almost everything. The location is a little hard to find but it's super quiet so nobody will disturb your sleep. The rooms are very spacious and super clean. The WiFi is good and everything just works, even though this is not always the case in Africa. The place itself is gorgeous. Beautiful gardens, white house and structures and a luscious pool! The owners Michel & Pierre are very sympathetic and helpful people and I had a great time talking with them about so many subjects. They also have huge knowledge about Africa so they are able to give advice about literally everything. They have a personal driver that can take you to town on the motorbike if you come alone. Saly is also a great safe place to go out so my stay here was absolutely delightful.
