We loved our stay at Aylluwasi which means family home in Quechua. Alberto our host was so kind and helpful. The location is very central so we could easily get there via foot from the bus station and the the famous Otavalo market was just one block away.There was also an amazing coffee place just around the corner. It was great to have such big clean rooms and also the opportunity to cook for ourselves in the communal kitchen. It was especially nice to have a smoothie machine! All in all we would recommend this place if you looking for affordable accommodation with a lot of heart and soul.

Clean and comfortable, amazing family running the place. They were so wonderful and hospitable that I decided to stay an extra night. There’s a beautiful view from the rooftop, and it’s a peaceful place to stay.

I LOVED this hotel - it was so cozy and adorable! The view was incredible and the service was top notch! The food was another level and the grounds were spectacular! Beautifull andean lodge. Great food and very helpful staff. The drive up is steep (only last 200m), but the road is hard and we had no problems with a small hatchback.

The location is serene and stunning, offering a peaceful retreat surrounded by natural beauty. The house itself is brand new, adding to the comfort of the stay. Just across the street, there is a breathtaking view of the lagoon, which adds to the charm of the place. To top it off, the food was absolutely amazing – a true highlight of our experience. Secure parking for our motos inside the hotel with an easy access (room for a few cars, too, but in one line). Very good value, price lowest in town. Room comfortable. Could use dining area for PC. Location two blocks from tourist area, so quiet, no qualms walking area. Wifi ok. And a simple breakfast included.
