Situated in the countryside, this typical Cantabrian house is set in Herrán, 800 metres from Santillana del Mar historic town and within driving distance from Altamira Caves.

The house has a comfortable lounge and a dining room where breakfast is served. There is also a microwave, kettle and a fridge. Beautiful, quiet setting. Lovely atmosphere with a welcoming and attentive hostess.

Posada La Torre de La Quintana is housed in a listed historical building that breathes an air of nobility and aristocracy, surrounded by the beautiful lush Cantabrian countryside. It also offers apartments located 800 metres from the main building. The room was super-comfy and well equipped, and breakfast was delicious, and the staff were super helpful.

Santander Festival Palace is 34 km from the guest house, while El Sardinero Casino is 36 km from the property. Santander Airport is 30 km away. We arrived here while walking the Camino de Santiago and Pensión La Terraza was the perfect place to unwind and restore for the next day. We enjoyed the afternoon by the pool so much, and we had one of our best meals in the restaurant in the evening. (Particular shout out to the goat cheese salad and the bacalau al pisto!) Also our rooms and breakfast were both wonderful!

The room was very comfortable and clean with a cute balcony. A very big parking too.

I only was there a brief time so can’t comment on breakfast.
