Very friendly and also gave us recommendations about hikes in the area. The rooms are very clean, lovely, and the beds are comfortable. It is like a small luxury hotel.

Sonia provides lovely hospitality from the moment you arrive. You'll feel like staying with a family. Ask her for whatever you want and she'll help, even details about the mountain and routes.. She works in a restaurant, in the same building. Nice room with all necessities at a reasonable price. Positive energy all around the wonderful town of Trevelez. I'll definitely stay here again when I'm back, and I recommend it especially for mountain adventurers.

Jaime kindly welcomed us to the guesthouse and showed us around the garden while explaining the facilities. We loved the wood stove, well-kept garden surroundings, familiar environment, and comfortable, cozy, practical apartment. The kids, the dogs, and the cat were adorable. We were perfectly attended to and had all kinds of information on hand. The kitchen was well-equipped. Thank you for a lovely weekend. We will recommend this guesthouse to those who want to visit the authentic Alpujarra.

They take pleasure in having happy guests. We were there in October when the walnuts were falling of the tree in the garden, all guests could eat walnuts to their hearts delight ❤️. They offer a simple breakfast and the possibility to have a drink in the evening. The choice is small but it's great quality and typical local stuff. One morning we were asked where we would walk that day. When hearing the answer we were advised to make sure we had enough sunscreen and warm clothes. Although we were prepared well, it's good to get the advice anyway. Loved this hotel, I'd love to come back if I'm in the area again. Other good stuff: The entire place is very clean and homely, excellent shower for after a long hike in the mountains

I misread the listing, thinking it was private when it was semi-private. It couldn't have been a lovelier family with whom to share the space. I would recommend this accommodation. Great location and kind, responsive hosts!

I had a perfect stay at Alpujarra Guesthouse, Emily is such a kind and generous host. I felt so inspired and moved by the way she treats the guests and even her lovely animals! The guesthouse is in a beautiful spot on the mountainside, so quiet and peaceful. Plenty of wonderful hikes in the area and further afield. I easily could have stayed much longer! We had an absolutely magical stay in this beautiful, peaceful place, perfectly located with stunning panoramic views of the Sierra Nevada. The welcome was exceptional — the hosts are a lovely couple, incredibly kind and thoughtful, and their little dog made the experience even warmer and more charming. The jacuzzi with a view was amazing both during the day and under the stars at night — I even saw several shooting stars, an unforgettable moment. The outdoor space is very pleasant and well designed, with a convenient and enjoyable outdoor kitchen. The accommodation is beautifully decorated, the bed is extremely comfortable, and the peaceful surroundings offer perfect rest and relaxation. Despite the July heat, the climate here is very pleasant, thanks to the altitude and many shaded areas — you hardly feel the heat at all. This is the perfect place to unwind, enjoy nature, and disconnect from everyday life. I would return in a heartbeat!
