The 2 nights we stayed there were lovely, we stayed in a lodge the first night and then we stayed in a room in the hotel. The bedroom was clean and spacious, bed was comfortable! We had breakfast which was lovely and we also ate in the restaurant and again we couldn’t fault it! The staff were friendly and helpful.

Good size, comfortable room. Lovely beds and crisp, clean sheets. Mini bar option but with free bottled water and fresh milk for tea and coffee. Excellent en-suite bathroom with big fluffy towels and powerful shower. Beautiful smelling free shampoo, bodywash and soaps. Continental breakfast included with ingredients from local producers and hung on the outside of the door in the morning, great idea! Cooked breakfast option for an extra fee. Hairdryer, coffee machine and kettle provided. Very clean and well maintained. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Small bookable parking bay.

Lancaster Castle is 29 km away and Lancaster University is 38 km from the inn. Very cozy and charming place! It was our stopover between England and Scotland, and it didn't disappoint. Set in a quaint little town, this inn is right in the heart of it all. The rooms were perfectly cozy and comfortable, the staff incredibly welcoming, and the breakfast was generous and delicious. Highly recommended!

A beautiful quick stop over stay at Open Acres before an early morning flight. I wish we could have stayed longer, the setting was beautiful, the room was lovely and clean. My kids loved seeing the horses. Ben was welcoming and sorted transfer to the airport for the early hours. Would definitely return.

Location was just a short walk from the beach and close to lots of good restaurants and cafes. The beach is an excellent location for collecting sea glass. The room was superb, clean, warm (as we visited during Winter) with tea and coffee making facilities and an excellent rainfall shower. It is an unmanned hotel but the access instructions we received on the morning were easy to follow. I was able to communicate with the property via text when I had a question. Would thoroughly recommend this property.
