Afternoon tea can be taken in the elegant Drawing Room. we booked for an ireland rugby match. if the hotel was any closer to the Aviva it would have to be on the pitch. amazing to just walk into the hotel after the match and watch the crowds pass by while sipping a drink from the honesty bar. Breakfast was top notch. charming interior matching the feel of the late Victorian exterior.

The guest house is less than a 10 minute' walk from Howth DART station, and a 2 km walk from Howth Castle and the National Transport Museum of Ireland that is situated in its grounds. There is also the Hurdy Gurdy Radio Museum based out of the Martello Tower, directly above the King Sitric. There are extensive walking paths and golf courses in the area. End of road location was great walking in pier and around the quaint village was delightful. Your man at the desk was outstanding!

The reception has a stunning sunken sofa located in the centre with an inviting fireplace. Also, the beautifully landscaped garden is another outstanding feature of Number 31. The staff are all warm & very welcoming. A big shout out to Delia & Molly who provided a stunning breakfast each morning. Delia's breakfasts are a great & wholesome start to the day. Make sure you try her cranberry loaf! Thankyou Michai, Delia, Molly & the rest of the staff for making our stay so warm! I hope to see you all again soon!
