All units in the guest house are equipped with a flat-screen TV. Rooms are complete with a private bathroom fitted with a hair dryer, while some rooms are equipped with a seating area. Guest rooms have a desk. I payed so little for it that I thought it would be a bit nasty, but I was positively surprised, it surpassed most of the other accommodations during my trip. Including some more expensive hotels. The room was really cozy. I liked the solid classical furniture and traditional hotel atmosphere which in my book beats the hotels with modern furniture that often ends up looking like hostels. The location was also great! Next to the Railway Station which is both great for train travelers and people who travel by car and can use the stations parking lot which was right next to the hotel. If I come to Kilkenny again I will pick this hotel again!

Situated on the Castlecomer road adjacent to the Kilkenny Golf Club and New Park Hotel. Just 10 minutes walk from the city centre and all the major sights and attractions Kilkenny has to offer. Convenient accommodation in Kilkenny, not far from center, in a quiet location. The room was nice and clean. Beds are comfortable. There's a big restaurant/pub on the ground floor, which is very convenient. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Check-in is flexible, so it's suitable for later arrivals as well. There's some WiFi but we did not check the details. We would be happy to come back again.
