We were met with a cordial reception and breakfast, although we turned up way early after having arrived by night train. We were given a small room to rest and refresh until ours - upgraded from what we had booked, with sea view! - was ready. Our daughter in particular loved the pool! Great place for families seeking relaxation. Food is good, too.

I had an amazing stay at Mango Villa in Varkala. The location was perfect for access to the attractions yet had its privacy of quiet atmosphere. The host Mini knows quite well about the place and she has amazing recommendations for restaurants, things to do etc. Although it was a short stay, they made it perfect! Would definitely recommend at least a couple nights to a week stay for a much relaxed vacation
