The room was spacious, clean and beds comfortable. The shower was very good too. The hosts were very helpful and kind, allowing us to leave our bags after check out and arranging transport to the port on our departure day. They also left bananas and water in the room which were appreciated! The location of the House is great - right by the water and an easy walk to the Ando Museum and Art House area, but also just half an hour walk to the Benesse / Chichu side of the island. There are also good restaurants and coffee shops / cafes short walks from the House. We had a great stay here and would really recommend staying at Yellow House!

Older, but clean and cosy authentic japanese house. It felt like a visit to grandma’s home. Also the owner was very nice lady. Just everything we were looking for - something authentic, away from tourists and big cities. The town and its people are also very welcoming.

The kind owner welcomed us warmly and we had access to a large part of the house, including a private shower and toilet. The house itself was an authentic countryside Japanese home, which added to the charm of our experience. A pleasant surprise was the availability of push bikes for free, making it easy to explore the area. The location was very convenient for visiting the major museums. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we highly recommend it!
