It was a bit out of the city center but right by the mountain and the port. Did I mention the extra soft duvet and comfy bed?

When we had a question about renting a car on the island, the hosts helped reserve a car for us and also picked us up from the ferry port! The hosts also gave us the best recommendations for hiking trails, swimming spots, beaches and places to see monkeys and deer on the island. This rental was the best experience we’ve had on our whole trip and made Yakushima even better!
