I loved my stay here, the bed was comfortable and the shower had great pressure. It was a bit out of the city center but right by the mountain and the port. The owners were super kind and make the best breakfast, they accommodated my vegetarian needs 😁 they also recommended a great tour guide for the main attractions around.

The hospitality was impeccable. The host was always available for everything. Probably witnessed the peak of Japanese culture (with people being helpful in every way possible) here. The host (without even us asking him for anything) found that our shoes were wet after a trek put them for drying (on a drying machine) only for us to find the shoes all dried up the next day. Unbelievable. The location is walkable from the port and has house had everything you’d need. The kitchen and the shower was equipped with everything that you’d need during your stay. The house was small but very clean. Would highly recommend.

Mori San is a very kind person ! I had a warm welcome and amazing stay. I had mechanical problem on my bike and he lent me his own bicycle to visit Kakeromajima (beautiful !). A nice house with 3 rooms, 2 toilets and 1 shower/bath. The house is clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. I felt like a guest at a friend's house. The location is very convenient, close to the attractions in the south and west of the island. I chose to have breakfast and dinner for the two days I stayed there and everything was freshly prepared and delicious. The best part of my stay had to do with the gracious hospitality of Yuki. Shortly after I booked, Yuki contacted me and offered helpful information about my stay and the importance of having a rental car. She even reserved a rental car for me when I could not find one myself, and she did not charge a fee. After I arrived, Yuki offered nice suggestions for things to do in Yakushima, all of which I took advantage of and had a wonderful time. Yuki even lent me her sarong so I could enjoy the hot spring pools by the sea. She also helped me call and cancel my ferry reservation after I changed my plans. I was so glad that I stayed at blue drop during my first two stays in Yakushima; it was a great start to my vacation. I highly recommend this beautiful place!
