Yujiro, the owner, contacted me even before my stay with amazing recommendations such as restaurants and attractions in Takeo Onsen area. He even assisted in booking a table for me at an marvelous restaurant. Thank you for making my Takeo Onsen experience truly amazing, Yurijo. In addition, the location of the guesthouse in ideal as you can walk to many places such as the famous tree, the library and the onsen itself. Also, the room is spacious and the bed is comfy. I slept like a rock. Before I left, I had an insightful and fun conversation with Yurijo. Thank you again. Hope to see you and stay at the guesthouse again.

Aki-san and Kumiko-san are very welcoming and kind, we ate dinner nearby Yumeya which had a fantastic atmosphere and very good food. It's convenient, close to public transport and also close to many sightseeing areas. You also get a great view of Beppu from the area around the hostel. The interior of the hostel is fantastic, you could spend hours looking at all the decorations and talking about your favorite shows. Tosi was also an incredible host who went above and beyond to make my stay as special as possible.

We had the pleasure of staying one night and it was really a great visit. The hosts were really accommodating for us making sure we had a pleasant experience there. The food they served was really delicious and the chefs creativity showed us what is possible in the japanese cuisine. When we left for our train it was raining, we encountered one of the hosts on our way there and she kindly offered us to bring us to the train station! Super kind! We have regrets that we didn't stay longer. I would really recommend the Omekase course if have the chance to do it, it will be a memorable experiece for your trip!

The house is very beautiful, well renovated with very good taste.Three toilets but only one bathroom.The owner and the staff are very kind and full of service mind. We have barbecue with karaoke , singing and dancing with the best audio equipment..The owner well prepared everything for our group including the heater on the floor. We all very appreciated for the hospitality, will come back again.

Be sure to go to the cafe on the first floor which is run by the same organization and is also very artsy and bohemian.
