We arrived earlier but the staff allowed us to check in anyway We had a full house for the two pf us ! It was spacious, clean and convenaient. Rather well placed.

The room is a traditional japanese style but it is quiet comfortable, and the bathroom is very clean. Also, I would like to mention that Kawakami San is very nice and help us a lot on booking several restaurants in Japanese, since we are unable to speak.

We rented a car so we have no issues getting there.

We were kindly welcomed in a house filled with figurines, games and toys from the early 2000s. The host was extremely kind and even helped us set up a projector to watch a movie! One of the most unique stays we’ve experienced in Japan so far! There’s also an incredible restaurant nearby called 食堂 あお where the owner speak English and we got to taste the best fish we’ve ever had! Overall highly recommend!!

It was our first time to experience staying at a TRADITIONAL Japanese home and we love it especially it is near the train station and temples/shrines. The room has good and functioning airconditioner. There were ear plugs and tissues provided.
