I can't rate this place highly enough............we stayed end of November, so also had wonderful colours of autumn leaves. We were met at the station, taken to the house and explained in perfect English, how to operate heating, door locks etc...... The owner then took us back to the station....and what surprised us was, he waited till we got into the station and waved us goodbye. 👋 Perfection 🥰 💞 🥰 to the end of a most memorable stay we will never forget. Ps, 2 nights is not enough....stay longer if you can

After that, Asami's husband told us that we were welcome to join the local residents in their morning exercise, and we did. It was such a nice surprise! We enjoyed the great sense of community here. Later during the temple experience, we learned a lot about the local temple culture. I would highly recommend their guesthouse to anyone interested in having an in-depth understanding of local Japanese communities.

The surrounding was quite peaceful and the food that was provided was excellent. Masako San was so kind to drive us to and from the train station and the train ride from Kyoto was convenient. The house was beautiful and the city was quiet. We could relax completely. We have nothing else to say but thanks, and we will come back!
