The room was comfortable and well equipped. The area is quiet and you can hear the birds and the jungle sounds (we even heard an elephant!) The resort is family run and the host, his wife and two sons were very friendly and helpful. The meals were good and (very) plentiful. We enjoyed a safari in the park with the host and there are walking paths on the lake outside the park where we saw lots of birds. Overall a great experience.

Every meal was a lovely home cooked spread, accommodating certain dietary restrictions . One of the best stay experiences I had during my two week trip in Srilanka.

There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The guest house features family rooms. It's a fabulous place to stay. Wonderful environment with excellent hospitality. Can enjoy bird watching at the pond and the paddy fields. I highly recommend this place.

We were pleasantly surprised to find that our room came with its own living room, making it feel like a full apartment rather than just a guest room. For a very reasonable price, we had a completely private space to ourselves, which we really appreciated. The location is also ideal — the area is peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. A special thanks to Nilukshan, who organized some truly extraordinary tours for us, including the Wilpattu safari, and visits to Anuradhapura and Mihintale. Each one was memorable and perfectly arranged, giving us deep insights into the history and beauty of the region. We also took part in a cooking class conducted by Malsha, which was another highlight of our stay. The class was hands-on, fun, and absolutely delicious — we learned a lot and enjoyed every moment. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area — it’s more than just accommodation, it’s an experience!

A really nice place with a beautiful family that is caring about their guests a lot! The rooms are big and clean, the shower as well as the AC was really good! Also the pool was clean and refreshing :) The breakfast and dinner was amazing and different every day - really worth it.
