They weren’t upset when I said the WiFi wasn’t fast enough or the eggs were too salty— they helped me fix the problems immediately and I had fast WiFi and tasty eggs! The owner has a large orchard. In a corner of the orchard, there is a beautiful botanical garden, which was designed by the owner himself. We stayed in this botanical garden. You can imagine how beautiful it is! In addition, the hotel owner has a very polite son and a naughty and lovely daughter. We felt very happy playing with them.

Quiet and comfortable, the location was lovely. The hosts were absolutely amazing and the included breakfast was delightful. We chose to have dinner 4 nights in a row, choosing their vegetarian rice & curry as it was both delicious and very affordable compared to other restaurants in the area. The hosts were lovely, helpful, and always quick to respond to any of our questions, including arranging an early morning tuktuk for us. The wifi was functional for basic searches, but we recommend having some books to read to truly indulge in the experience. We definitely recommend staying here!

I l strongly recommend this place to any traveler looking for some relaxing atmosphere. The family was very nice and super helpful in helping me to plan my stay. They provided very useful recommendations and help with ordering tuktuk. The food was the best I had in Sri Lanka so far, highly recommend to enjoy your dinner there. The room was very nice and clean, AC, huge bathroom. The garden was very pretty. The guesthouse is located a bit outside of the main road but the village is accessible by foot. Last but not least, I did the safari with the owner, which was one of the best experience I had. Safari was in Hurulu Forest Reserve, a very nice forest, and we saw lots of (baby) elephants. Highly recommended!
