The Surf Lodge is beautifully decorated with a lot of love and taste. It offers amazing breakfast and a direct access to the beach. It is managed by the super kind Che who was always very attentive to help us organize a few things around the area. What we particularly loved about the hotel (apart from the amazing spacious rooms and the delicious (vegetarian) food) was that it is Che’s family home and has such a friendly and calming vibe :) it’s only a short walk to local restaurants and bars and Madiha’s main beach is also only a few minutes away. You are right on the beach and walkable to the nearby turtle bay, and close to dickwella and hiriketiya.

We stayed for a week at this property and had the most amazing experience. Beautiful lawns, big rooms with balconies and sit out area, housekeeping everyday, great pool with Jacuzzi and good food. What more can one ask for. The staff were very helpful at all times and made our stay very comfortable. The owners Mr. & Mrs. Dias, went out of their way to accommodate all our requests. They even decorated the place, brought a cake to celebrate my grandson’s first birthday. Thank you so much for everything. It was a memorable stay.

We liked everything. Very close to the sea. Walking distance from coconut hill. One of our best stays.
