Ginger Guest House was perfect for our stay. The owner Kak Rose is lovely and helpful. She gave us lifts to the town centre although that is just a short walk away. On one occasion, we were wet from river swimming but she insisted on giving us a lift anyway. It was the small gestures that demonstrated her kindness and care for her guests. I asked her where in the town could I buy keropok lekor and a few hours later, I was presented with a small packet of the keropok - which was totally unexpected and speaks of sincere hospitality. I would highly recommend this Guest House as the people are kind and hospitable.

Situated in Taman Negara, Balai Serama Guesthouse offers tranquil and comfortable accommodation. Surrounded by lush greenery, it features a restaurant and provides free parking space on site. We spent 2 nights in Belai Serama and it has been the highlight of our trip. The rooms are basic and clean, the breakfast simple but good enough to start the day, the dinner... we adored! Homemade, fresh, delicious! And then, there is this beautiful garden overlooking the river... 😍 We wished we had more days to spend there. Last but not least, Ijak has been a wonderful host (his wife was absent those days). He arranged all our amazing activities. He was very hospitable and kind. Thank you!
