Remy was lovely and super helpful. I rented snorkel gear from her and she was happy to organise canyoneering for me even though I had messaged at night. The dorm was comfortable and clean and lockers are available to use.

It is a decent 10min walk to the main area as we didn’t hire a bike but very doable.

We recommend eating at JG's Grill which is a short walk away. We did this walk multiple times, even in the dark of night, with our 6-year old son. And always felt safe. Don't worry about the neighborhood dogs, they were harmless. Lisa and the team were extremely helpful! Air conditioning, internet and hot water worked great. The ocean view from the property is spectacular, with many different colors of blue. As well as the beautiful mountains in the distance, across the water. We loved kayaking just out front during high tide and exploring the reef for sea creatures at low tide. That was a highlight for our son! The Filipino breakfasts we enjoyed every morning were satisfactory as well. Everything felt like great value for what we paid.

The room itself is as pictured and clean, AC works great and the room is well insulated, keeping it nice and chilly. Also nice hot shower and a beautiful garden. I also rented a motorbike with great condition and great prices.

Located in Oslob, a few steps from Lagunde Beach, Melronz inn provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and barbecue facilities. Every room is equipped with a balcony with a sea view. Perfect spot to go see the whale sharks in Oslob. Host was extremely helpful with everything from food, rides, tours and anything we needed. We were very satisfied. We had lunch watching sea turtles from the patio.

Every room has a private bathroom and a terrace with a garden view. Roos is a cozy guesthouse with only 4 units. The staff and service is exceptional, better than any western 5-star hotel. Staff are always available and helpful, and being small, every guest gets personalised service, on demand. On arrival we got a cold wet flannel and refreshing fruit drink. The rooms are very comfortable, great shower, bed and aircon. Each room has a nice balcony so you can also relax outside. The location is perfect, close to the beach and in the middle of restaurants, left and right of the road that leads to Roos. We recommend Roos but be quick as it isn't usually available, hence the 9+ rating from all guests.
