It features an outdoor pool and an on-site restaurant. Visiting the Douro region I found the best thing to do is to stay here. You will experience everything Douro region has to offer! Throughout your visit you will experience several tasting of the excellent portwines of the house. And staying there you don’t need to drive anymore. (Large carpark). There is a joint drink followed by a communal dinner. The food is excellent and portwines are used in the food as well. It’s a very nice to socialize with other guests. There is a lovely swimming pool with nice seating area overlooking the wineslopes. Rooms are spotless, very comfortabel and atmospheric. Last but not least: there is a beautiful 2 hour hike from the premises through the winefields with magnificant Douro riverviews from high above! This all makes for an unforgettable experience! They went out of their way to make our check in, stay and visits to the vineyard as convenient as possible. Eduardo also especially arranged a pick up and drop to and from the Pinhao railway station as he was available at the time and at a minimal fee. The place was beautiful and clean. We got to taste the Portuguese traditional cuisine for dinner and breakfast was good with plenty of options at the buffet.

The hosts arranged a wine tour for us at a local winery. The accommodation was impeccably clean. The parking onsite in an enclosed garage was convenient.
