A Wonderful Stay at Solas Alainn, Isle of Skye Our four-day stay at Solas Alainn was fantastic. The owners were incredibly welcoming and kind, always available to meet our needs. They even surprised our daughters with beautiful plush toys, making them feel special from the start. The house was immaculate, beautifully furnished, and equipped with every comfort, including a washer and dryer. The rooms were well-separated, providing plenty of space for our family. The location is perfect, offering breathtaking sea views and being just a minute away from a café and small grocery store. Overall, Solas Alainn exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay on the Isle of Skye.

This is a lovely self-catering cottage on a Loch. Although it seemed far from everything on Skye, it wasn't, as you have to drive everywhere in any case! The view from the cottage is magnificent and we were within walking distance of Kilt Rock, weather permitting! The house is extremely comfortable for 4 people and very well appointed. We would definitely stay there again on a future visit. Thank you to the prompt service by the handyman in doing some minor repairs.
