Location is fantastic with views of the White Mountains, and the best sunsets and sunrises. The apartment was very beautiful, with hand painted furnishings (by our talented host) and art to enjoy. Our hosts were lovely and being there at the height of the growing season, they generously supplied us with tomatoes and cucumbers from the garden, to supplement the basic ingredients provided in the kitchenette (oil, salt, pepper, tea, coffee, sugar, vinegar). There's a washing machine on the terrace, and everything dries in no time. The gorgeous terrace was the main reason we booked and it did not disappoint; there were comfortable shaded areas for lounging, and even cats to play with. Chania is about 30 minutes' drive, with a street market on Thursday and Saturday - go early! The nearest beaches are about 30 minutes' drive as well. Do check out the local winery and the botanical gardens; both excellent for a tour and lunch. We hope to visit again.

We truly had an incredible time staying at this beautiful villa. From the luxurious amenities to the stunning views, everything exceeded our expectations. Where do I start? we had a week in Crete and stayed in 6 different places including Rethymno, Heraklion, Agia Pelagia and Chania. This residence was our last night in Crete as we were flying from Chania back home. Everything was perfect for us. The hosts were super accommodating and allowed us to check in much earlier. The whole place was spotless, super clean and as we were the 3rd guests everything was very new and pristine. The hosts provided luxury bedding, towels and every toiletry you can think of, including toothbrushes and toothpaste. The shampoo and conditioner provided left my curly thick hair feeling so soft and smooth that I will be buying it myself!! the facilities in the kitchen left me feeling inadequate for my own kitchen back home! Everything and more is provided. The marble detailing in the bathrooms are stunning, the beds are comfortable and there are plenty of sofa options to sit on. However the best thing about this place is location. Slap bang in the middle of the old town chania harbour. The views are to die for. There are many vantage points. one smaller balcony at the front overlooking the harbour and old town, where you can sit to drink your morning coffee. Then there is another terrace at the back overlooking the old town hustle and bustle. Then there is a huge rooftop terrace with outdoor kitchen, tables, chairs and a gorgeous hanging egg chair. The views you get across the harbour to the lighthouse are literally post card perfect. Stunning. to top it off we saw the giant turtle in the harbour on our last night which was magical! Thank you for a wonderful stay. Wish we could have stayed longer.
