What a wonderful place! It’s in the middle of a quiet garden but in the real centre of Ubud. Not a luxurious accommodation but very authentic and clean. Yoyok is an amazing host! He helped with everything we needed - scooter, laundry, transport to Gili Islands. We really liked that you can have a real Balinese breakfast with many options (rice porridge with egg, satay, sweet cakes with coconut and palm syrup) - did not see it anywhere else. We had a great time!

We loved everything about our stay at The Ambengan Villas Ubud. The location was absolutely stunning with beautiful greenery surrounding the property. The room was beautiful, very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. The pool and outdoor area were amazing. We booked this last minute and are so so happy we did! The best part about our stay was the staff. Every single staff member was welcoming, caring and friendly. The Ambengan Villas Ubud is owned by Balinese locals who hire local people from the surrounding villages - we love coming and supporting the locals so were very happy to find this out too. Couldn't rate our experience more highly and we will be back for sure.

I’m happy to give this place its first review because it’s just a dream! We booked for one night and decided to stay a second one. The staff is so welcoming and easy to connect with. They’ll provide a scooter/taxi for you and you’ll get to the center in a minute. In the villa it’s quiet and relaxing though! We especially loved, that there is no fence between the pool and the ricefields. Around 8pm the fireflies come out so you won’t only enjoy the great view in the daytime. :) You have to stay here.. for everything you get it is so worth the money!

The location of the villa is great. It’s 10 min walk to monkey forest and really close to the restaurants, markets and ATM and anything you need. Staff is really kind and helpful. Whatever you need, they are providing immediately. And the villa itself is breathtaking. Towels and the sheets are so clean and smelling nice. The pool is warm all the time. Everything is just perfect here. It’s a really great stay for us.

A really peaceful stay, the villa was clean and modern. I was solo travelling and made to feel really comfortable, but the size is also perfect for 2 people. Only a short Grab taxi away from the centre, but if you choose to stay in, you can log into Netflix, disney, or Prime and feel at home. I would definitely stay here again
