Gorgeous cabin with great view, surrounded by beautiful nature. We highly recommend it. It was perfect for a late October getaway in autumn's gorgeous foliage. We recommend downloading a hiking/trekking app and going and discovering the surroundings on foot. Supermarkets and cafes are within minutes by car or bus. The bus stop is also very close to the cabin.

This is an absolutely unique place to stay. Pretty much everything you see is more than 200 years old. Nothing ordinary. An aesthetic and inspiring experience for all senses. A great experience for adults and older kids who love history, folk culture and Norwegian way of life outdoors as the wandering routes start right outside. The housing area is very nice with great views and beautiful houses. The pictures are accurate.

The house has a great view over the fjord and is located in a very quiet area. It's very conveniently connected to Oslo by bus and ferry. The house itself had everything we needed, it was beautiful and the hosts were most welcoming. We would recommend everyone to stay and would love to return one day!
