Stunning chalet-style accommodation in a very quiet riverside area north of Golubac. It is deceptively roomy, exceptionally clean, and fully equipped with all of the modern mod cons (including excellent wi-fi and access to streaming sites). You can also park your car in the fenced-off garden next to the chalet 👌🏻 There are a handful of local shops and eateries just around the corner - which are convenient and also add to the general “off-the-beaten track” ambience of the place 🙂 Tamara, our very thoughtful and organised hostess, was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Excellent reconstruction of the original smithery. Original walls, main door and ceiling beautifully refurbished. New replocas of historical windows. Nice new bathroom, kitchen and main room. tremendous rooofed terrace. Nice garden. If you are looking for peace and silence in a historical object then this is the place. National park Djerdap (Danube Iron Gate) is a must so see. Bakery with fantastic burek and cakes not far. Shops with kajmak, feta and plazma cubes in vicinity. Really nice place to stay.

From my point of view, it is an exceptional location for 2-3 people who want to relax near the water of the Danube. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, from crockery to an oven and ceramic hob and a large fridge. You have no neighbors, quite a big yard with trees.
