Host is friendly and always responsive. We also did the activities provided by the villa, they arranged everything beautifully and we had a lot of fun. They also arranged all the transportations for us since we didn’t have a car. The villa is away from town, so we had to make sure we had enough groceries for our stay as there’s no close by grocery. Will definitely come again :)

We got to see the northern light from the cabin! No light pollution, great view of the skies! It seems remote but also in 10-15 mins drive from everything we needed. The only thing I would recommend to change- maybe an option to purchase a welcome package with some provisions. We arrived late at night so no chance to go to the shops

Although it’s self-catering here, the restaurant is perfect for us when we didn’t feel like cooking. The food is authentic Finnish cuisine, and it really adds to the experience. What hasn’t changed is the stunning scenery and the hospitable people. It’s for me the perfect place to disconnect from city life and enjoy some peace and quiet away from the tourist crowds in Rovaniemi. We stayed for several days, and there’s always something to do—Nordic skiing, husky safaris, chasing the northern lights on the lake, or just relaxing in the sauna. It’s impossible to get bored. This place has such a special charm, and I’m already looking forward to coming back a third time!

Not so far from Rovaniemi, near a ( frozen when we were there) lake. A lot of space, open sky ideal to hunt northern lights. The cottage ( Mustikka) we were staying at was sooo cute and comfy. The meals served at the restaurant were simple and delicious. The staff super nice and ready to help at any time.
