The traditionally built KK Houses is a self-catering accommodation located in Idra Town, within 400 metres from island's port. Free WiFi is available in all areas. It's widely accepted that hotel accommodation photos often look better than reality. However, KK House is one of the few exceptions. We stayed in the Delta Two apartment and it exceeded its online representation. It was spotless and spacious. The view was jaw-dropping, and the apartment was styled authentically in a Greek manner. The fridge was stocked with beverages, and the bedding was comfortable. Additionally, the washing machine, which I hadn't noticed was available when making the booking, was a welcome and useful inclusion. I could have lived there forever.

Everything about my experience staying at Aori Guesthouse was amazing. Panagiotis was truly the best host. Always very responsive and helpful with whatever we needed. The place is just as shown in the photos, with a beautiful terrace and all the amenities that one could need. It was very useful to have a washing machine available to use. My friends and I had a very comfortable stay here and if I ever come back to Hydra, I would definitely stay here again. I would advise future guests to ask for two keys right away, as the electricity is operated by a key card, and if you want to put the laundry on while going out to explore, you can only do so if you have a second key.

House is so well equipped to a high standard with lots of essentials for your stay, tea, coffee, bread, jams etc. Enough space for 4 people with 2 bathrooms as a bonus but also works well for a couple. Host was very good at giving advice

There's a good amount of space for people - inside and out. Sitting in the shade of the bougainvillea (on the lower terrace) to escape the early afternoon heat, looking out across the water, was lovely (as was sitting on the upper terrace to watch the sunset). The kitchen is pretty compact, but had everything that was needed. The effective air conditioning, and being able to use a washing machine, were also very welcome! Yes, there's lots of steps to get to the house, but if you're reasonably fit, they're fine. Tzina met us by the port near check in time, and supplied plenty of suggestions of things to do and places to go. A great host! Recommended.
