The area surrounding Abhainn Ri Cottages is home to beaches, historic houses, and gardens. Guests can take the Grand Tour of Wicklow and Kildare by car or visit Russborough House, just 5-minute drive away. It’s a very beautiful property with a beautiful farm walk where you get to see all the horses and animals living on the cottage and it takes you all the way down to a beautiful lake not to mention the house was very cosy and clean everything you need isn’t to far if you have a car and you’re right next to the Wicklow mountains which is just stunning to drive on. I definitely recommend

Carlow Golf Club is 37 km from the holiday home, while Carlow College is 38 km from the property. Dublin Airport is 89 km away. Delightful comfortable home with easy to follow check in instructions and comprehensive house manual. Pretty location, and excellent value.

A private entrance leads guests into the holiday home, where they can enjoy some wine or champagne. The property has an outdoor dining area. Right from the start, communication was easy and helpful. The house and décor were absolutely beautiful (and spotlessly clean) and the garden and views were so lovely. The bed was really comfortable. All of the little touches that the owner has made added so much to the experience, including plenty of toiletries, homemade scones and milk/wine waiting in the fridge for us. While we didn't stay long enough to make use of them, there are plenty of books and even board games for guests. I'd say it's probably the nicest accommodation I've ever stayed in and I can't wait to go back!

For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. We had a wonderful stay in Farm House Cottage. Karen and Clive were fantastic hosts. Karen even had baked croissants for our arrival. The house was huge with everything needed for our family. Our boys absolutely loved the pool table. Good base for Clara Lara, Russborough House. We'll be back!

This cottage was cute as a button! We loved the views from the front windows and the accessibility from the location of the town. By far one of our favorite stays while on the island!
