Just 5 km from central Strömstad, Daftö Resort offers a summertime theme park with an outdoor pool and children's activity house. Strömstad Golf Club is 8 km away. This place was a very happy surprise in so many ways! We really did not know what to expect from a pirate-themed resort but we had a beautiful and very comfortable room. Mid-week and off-season, we had the whole resort practically to ourselves. It is situated on the water so we enjoyed a morning walk around the property. The breakfast buffet was fabulous! I can't imagine what the resort is like during the summer, it must be crazy busy with the amusement park. But if I lived near, I would definitely take my grandkids for a couple of days.

Great location very helpful and friendly staff. Good price. Just tender your expectations, this is not a 5 star hotel but it is a wonderful getaway.

This small holiday park is located on the shore of Lake Åsunden, 5 minutes’ drive from Ulricehamn city centre. It offers individually decorated accommodation options with free Wi-Fi and parking. Wonderful camping site! We arrived late in the eve, but check in was easy (key in safe). We stayed in two lovely barrel cabins, kids loved it! Close (few meters really) to very clean bathroom and well equipped kitchen. Next morning we met our host and she was very nice and helpful. We only wish we planned and stayed for a longer, couple of days, as the surrounding is beautiful, on the shore of lake, you can paddle, walk or cycle and explore, but we unfortunately did not have time. Will definitely come back for that!
