It's done very nicely and the environment feels welcoming. Very short walk from the Tracopa bus station. The kitchen is well-equipped and tidy. The hostel was like a treat after a long trip from Panama. I also had a dorm for myself for that night so I rested a lot. Thank you!

The atmosphere of the accommodation. Beautiful tropical property. This is an excellent place for those who are independent travelers, not so much for those needing to be pampered. I thought it was a great place to stay. Stayed 15 nights.

My friend and I didn't actually stay here due to our flight being cancelled at the very last minute! However I wanted to write a review anyway to say the hosts were just exceptional the whole way through our crisis- when our flight was delayed until 1am they said they'd put us in a private room so we didn't wake up others, and they would wake up around 2am to let us into the hostel regardless. Then when we told her the flight could no longer get to Costa Rica, she was so understanding & very kind & lovely. I'm sure the place was beautiful, but I would recommend this for the safety, kindness, empathy & care of the hosts alone. They really were genuinely good people and we were so grateful to them when we were in a really stressful situation.
