Very clean and comfortable room, and the a/c worked perfectly. We arrived before check-in time and had no problem leaving our things so we could go explore. The owners are very kind, and the paid breakfast is worth it; it was delicious. Thank you, Ana! The best place to stay in Banyuwangi

Staying at Banana Homestay was a great decision! We arrived at around 3am in the morning, but the check-in was super smooth because Fryda contacted me before and thoroughly explained everything to me. The room was quite small but cozy and had everything we needed. Fryda also helped us book the Mt. Ijen tour, she was very helpful and kind. One of the best things about staying here was definitely the breakfast! Delicious tea with a sandwich, a plate of fruit, and always some fresh pastry! The doughnuts were the BEST doughnuts we've ever had, honestly! On our last day, the lady cook was kind enough to make doughnuts for us again after she realized how much we liked them. Place is super nice and cozy. There isn't any hot water but that wasn't a problem given how hot it was. I definitely recommend staying here, there was nothing we didn't like! Plus, the kitties there are super cute as well~Thanks for having us (:

This is an AWESOME place! A little oasis, very close to one of the little harbours where the boats for Menjangan Island leave from. We had booked a daytrip from Lovina to do the snorkeling, but instead of going back to Lovina afterwards, we had decided to book 3 rooms here for our group of 3. We were thinking of going for a hike in the NP the next day. And boy, were we happy we did! This place is so nice! The rooms are beautiful. Very nicely decorated (we wanted to take all the furniture home with us!), spacious, clean and with a huge bed with a good matras and pillows. The bathroom is spacious and beautiful with marble tiles. This hotel is pretty new (2018). The gardens and the pool are also amazing. Staff speaks English and are super friendly and eager to assist. We found out they offer snorkeling trips with their own boat (incl lunch and drinks) and they can arrange transportation to the main gate of the park, where the trails start, and get you a guide for it. In the evening we asked for a car and we went for dinner at the Mimpi resort, at the Sunset Beach Restaurant. (20 minutes by car). Which is also something to do, because also so beautiful and good food. In the morning we had an excellent choice in breakfast and everything was delicious. Try the dragon fruit juice!

The host, Indrawati, was very friendly and helpful. She organised for me a group tour of Injen and helped me arrange for ongoing transport. The homestay is in a good location and was clean. Coffee tea and bananas were always available.

Dannu is a lovely host and is really nice to talk to about Indonesian culture and his own travelling experiences. I took part in the Ijen tour he organises which provides transport, water, a guide and a headlamp. He makes lovely breakfast , the rooms are clean and the hostel is situated 15 min from the ferry station and 15 min from the train station.

Very close to the ferry and just 4 min from the train station 🚉 Ac and clean room. Basic but all you need in my opinion :) the owner was super friendly and helpful and always had a smile on her face, loved our 2 nights here!

The staff was very nice. The hotel provides ijen group tour with perfect service for a good price. So you dont need to worry where to book the tour. Just book the stay at this homestay. The train station and the ferry port is a 3 minutes walk.The tour was exceptional!

Honestly, They are a superb for customer relations. all the staffs very helpful and friendly, I was unwell when i arrived, and they checking up on my conditions regularly asking whether i need help for something including medicine, food, or even my water supplies in the room. When i comeback from hiking ijen, i need a massage therapist and they help me to find good one! They are always make sure that i have everything i need, including provide me a good & customize travel trips for a solo traveler like me(cheap & good price👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻) . For all their excellent service, I extent my stay for another 3 more days! Truly feels like home and make me feel prioritize even on a solo trip. Their attidude when i giving an inputs, is also a plus. They are always giving solutions for any challenges that i have. Their room is clean, the shared bathroom and other public area is also clean. Excellent service, initiative & problem solving team, strategic locations to find food, buying souvenirs, ATM, and other tourist destination. Thankyou mas Arif, mas Johan, mba Ipung, mba Fitri, mba Elsa and mas Ari i had the best time as a first timer in Banyuwangi♥️ thankyou for make me feel safe as a woman & solo traveler. Highly reccomended for anyone who plans a trip in Banyuwangi.
