We walked with two 15 years old children Via Francigena and stayed for 1 night at Sforza House. We stayed in spacious and very clean family room with beautiful bathroom. The house was fully equipped with a practical kitchen and dining area. The host who showed us around was fantastic friendly and helpful. The dinner recommendation was brilliant.

This is a lovely little place. The host was wonderful. The room was very nice. Good WiFi. Comfortable bed. Good television. Good shower. Peaceful and quiet. Close to town. Great place to spend a night if you are walking the VF. You get a voucher for breakfast in a nearby cafe in the morning.

What an amazing experience to stay the night in a property that’s 2.5 x older than my home country. Exploring the rooms and art was fantastic during the day with some natural light, but also in the evening with house lights. It really is like a night in a museum. And it’s located perfectly to walk all of Bolsena.

Brilliant location if traveling by car. Easy street parking, only a three minute walk to the center of town and the viewpoint. Many restaurants a 5-10 walk away. Nice simple breakfast in a nearby cafe. Beautifully designed, clean, comfortable room. Strongly recommended.

This was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Giorgia, the host and owner, is incredibly sweet and makes you feel right at home - it felt more like staying at her own house than a hotel. She even drove us to town and back the night we arrived. The rooms were beautifully decorated with antique furniture and had a well-stocked minibar. The garden and pool were lovely and relaxing, and it was easy to walk into town through her beautiful garden and the nearby escalators. You simply have to visit this place — it deserves more than a ten! I can’t wait to come back someday.
