The owner is really kind and offered to pick me up and drop me off at the station, which made getting to the guesthouse much easier. There were food and drinks in the fridge when I arrived which was a great touch! It is a lovely location in the countryside and there is plenty of nature to explore. There are a few resturants, coffee shops and convience stores in the area which walking/biking distance. Would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Mika’s and Paul’s beautifully refurbished ancient Japanese house. Mika was so kind and did restaurant bookings for us and gave us recommendations of hiking trips and onsens. It feels like being in a house with friends of friends since you stay together in one space and use the same kitchen and bathroom. In the evenings we had a Sake and asked them everything we wanted to know about Japan. Very interesting! Thank you so much, what a special and great stay! 😁

it’s location to the train station and spectacular views from my room of the mountains in the distance. the landlady was very friendly, although I didn’t speak the language.

The staff was very friendly and we often struck up conversation. The lounge area has an extensive vinyl collection and myself and guest would gather in the evenings to listen to classic jazz music.

This place is near fujimi panorama so if you want to MTB is perfect . You have a very nice onsen at walking distance. The lodge has a pure authentic spirit of the mountain. BUT specifically it has is host Junpei who is the nicest person of the world, will help you you everything, drive you to locations and guide you. Stay at ILA! :)
