We spent a couple nights to our full satisfaction and very much as expected. Gyeongju, we thought, calls for staying in a traditional place like this. The premises and building of Soseoljae Guest are very beautiful and serene. Like another era really. The rooms are spacious enough, the bathroom tiny, but functional. Personally I think sleeping on the floor like that is comfortable. The location is unbeatable for walking everywhere plus taxis are available just around the corner. To be honest, I was a bit worried about the breakfast, not for myself, but some of my pickier family members. They liked it. The owner is sweet. Don't hesitate to book.

Dongparang hanok stay is set in Gyeongju and features a pool with a view and garden views. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay.

Dongparang is the best combination of contemporary meets tradition, with Hanok remodelled and refurbished with modern and adorable interiors. There’s even a swimming like jacuzzi inside the Hanok. You don’t need to bring anything except for yourself to enjoy the beauty of Korean traditional house to the max as all facilities and amenities are well taken care of. Ms. Lee is not only pretty but also friendly and helpful. The only downside, it’s a shame that parents and myself only stayed here for one night.

What a lovely guesthouse in the centre of Gyeongju! A stonethrow away from the tombes and in the restaurant and shopping area. Yet very quiet, could not hear a thing in the rooms. Good breakfast with fresh fruits! And very nice owner who seems to be an incredible dancer looking at the pictures
