We had such a lovely time here. The room is spacious, clean and the bed is super comfortable. We did the cooking class and it was a blast, the lady is so fun :) The owner of the house and his family are so nice. Would definitely recommend a stay here, outside of the chaos of the city.

Uncle and Aunt, who manage the property, are the heart and soul of The Grove. Their warmth and humility are truly a rarity, making guests feel not just welcome, but like a part of their family. The stories they shared, the laughter that echoed, and the hospitality they extended made my stay unforgettable. The Grove's staff are its unsung heroes. Always wearing a bright smile, they are attentive, efficient, and ever so helpful. Whether you need guidance on local sightseeing or just a chat about life in Kandy, they're there for you, making sure every moment of your stay is comfortable and joyous. The Grove's pièce de résistance has to be its breathtaking swimming pool. Positioned in a way that seems to merge with the horizon, swimming here feels like floating amidst the clouds. Offering views that are second to none, this pool is a slice of paradise where the water mirr Now, let's talk about the breakfast. In a word, it's spectacular. We only stayed for 1 night but from the moment we entered the door, it was like being at home with family. The house is beautiful and Ayesha and her family were so kind! They fed us an amazing feast for dinner and breakfast the next day, some of the best food we have had in Sri Lanka. The views from the house are incredible, peace and quiet away from the bustle of Kandy, although only a short drive in if you want to go to the lake, temples etc.
