The accommodation in which we stay at during our journey is very important in order to fully appreciate a place or a country that we visit I ain't gonna let that proverb lies to us Regarding my journey in that accommodation provided by the owner Mr Mohanlal as a homestay I would like to emphasize and to feature my experience like exceptional with outstanding performance of that gentleman by hosting us which is his absolute priority He is really keen and passionate by the humain relationship He goes above and beyong with his guests offering some colors to the customer service by delivering a real 5 star experience similary to the hospitality of an upscale establishment much better than a simply service black and white without any consideration according to his background he has really the profile and the experience to do so which is a relief and an pleasure to be treated like a king aknowlaging you about the city and a different kind of subject We absolutely can feel that Mr mohanlal takes a real pleasure taking care of your confort by responding to your attend answering the requests of his guests and by anticipating to your need He is doing his best to host properly his clients and to make them feel happy into his flat well furnished very clean and very well furnished without any default to the facilities as well as the pool and the gym open to the rainforest surrounding by the calm and the sound for the bird in addition all the windows get an wide open view to the city at the back and the nature which is the tropical greenery at front We can have a wonderful breakfast cooked with love and well introduced as well as a chef I encourage you and I highly recommend you to stay in his penthouse during your trip in Colombo You will be welcomed staying with that genuine gentleman not pricy He is receiving a bunch of pleasure by offering pleasure to everyone

Excellent, clean, spacious and helpful staff. The accommodation is in a local quiet neighbourhood but well connected by bus to and from central Colombo. The bus stop is a 7 to 10 minutes walk, the ATM cash machine is within minutes walk. I liked my stay and hopefully will be back soon. Highly recommended.

The place was unexpectedly good. The host Akhill brother was exceptionally helpful and welcoming. The place was calm and the location was just right. It was clean, the washroom was good, there is an ensuite kitchen with everything u need for a long stay. And all in a budget friendly manner. Loved to stay there and hopefully will come again.

The overall experience of staying at Mr Bawa’s Home was just exceptional. The house, its design and history are beautiful. A true gem! This boutique hotel exceeded all expectations. The interior design is absolutely stunning. Every detail, from the furniture to the lighting, reflects a perfect balance between modern comfort and timeless local charm. The staff were exceptional – warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. From check-in to check-out, the service was flawless. It felt like staying with friends who truly care about your experience. We really enjoyed our visit at this home stay. The owners were very welcoming and really made us feel at home. They made great recommendations for restaurants and places to go around the city and were just really nice to chat to. Breakfast consisted of delicious traditional Sri Lankan food and the home and pool were very clean and well looked after. We would definitely stay again if we return to Sri Lanka.

Staying at 55TG boutique from April 2nd to 3rd, 2025, was the perfect way to conclude our Sri Lankan adventure. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer! We arrived early from Tangalle, and the staff kindly allowed us an early check-in to our room, the "Art Suite with a beautiful Garden View". It was beautifully decorated, spacious, and impeccably clean. We initially found the wifi signal weak, but our host, Dilshan, immediately demonstrated his exceptional attentiveness by bringing a router directly to our room, which resolved the issue completely – we had a great connection afterwards! The service from Dilshan and his crew throughout our stay was outstanding; their attentiveness made us feel like we were guests in a 5-star restaurant. The food was another major highlight. While seafood wasn't available on the menu during our short stay, the team was very accommodating and even offered to purchase alcohol externally for us if needed. We had lunch, dinner, and breakfast there, and everything was absolutely delicious. The fish curry and rice at dinner was genuinely the BEST meal we had during our entire trip! They even made the setting incredibly romantic, decorating our table with rose petals. As if that wasn't enough, they surprised me on my birthday morning! I certainly wasn't expecting techno birthday music to accompany my scrumptious breakfast – it was such a fun and unexpected touch. It made our early departure for the airport feel even more bittersweet, and we truly wished we could have tipped Dilshan and the staff more generously for their fantastic service. The grounds were quiet and private, contributing to a very peaceful atmosphere and a great night's sleep. Our stay felt far too short but was simply wonderful. Our sincere compliments and thanks to everyone at 55TG boutique for making our stay so memorable and special. It was the perfect ending. (P.S.

    We really enjoyed our time at Mohan’s homestay. It was exceptionally clean, very comfortable, and Mohan was a great host. Breakfast was delicious and served on a balcony that provided a perfect spot for birdwatching. Thank you Mohan for your wonderful hospitality.

    Great host. Really helpful in nature, peaceful location, a bit farther away from main attraction area of Colombo, a bike/scooter/tuk tuk/bus needed for commuting between Galle face, Pettah, Fort area. Great budget option. Really homestay like feeling, finally stayed there for more than one instances, the owner became a friend, still in connection with her. Without a word she agreed to keep our luggage when we were out of Colombo for further journey. Would like to repeat the same option of staying here.

    Shiranthi is a lovely host. She gave us a lot of useful information and made us tea every morning. The location is a little outside of Colombo but reachable very easily and cheap by local bus. It felt like home for 3 nights. We would definitely recommend
