The 360-degree view from the property was the highlight. The location was far from busy towns, and you could hear the cattle as you walked through the vast area. The property also had two cats, and it was a lovely place to relax for two days. There was access to a fully functioning kitchen to prepare your food. The views from the kitchen were amazing too. The property was clean, the bathrooms well kept, and it even had an in-built speaker in the shower!

We had a very warm welcome when we arrived and had a very lovely apartment with everything we could need. The breakfast was good and plentiful and would have had something for every taste. Staff were friendly and the rooms were cleaned spotlessly by the time we returned from Breakfast each day. Location wise the hotel is right next to the main walking areas in Obergurgl so access was very easy.

The accommodation offers private check-in and check-out and bicycle parking for guests. Beautiful traditional Tyrolese chalet. Clean, warm, well decorated and well equipped. Our host was amazing. We arrived late by public transport and asked where we could eat in the village. This wasn’t possible but he offered to drive us to a neighbouring village. We didn’t wish to inconvenience him so declined his kind offer. A little later he arrived at our room door with a plate of bread, ham and cheese with some beer. So welcome and unexpected - what great customer service.

A half hour drive takes you to Kirchberg in Tyrol where there is free parking and a free shuttle train which takes you into Kitzbuhel itself. Perfect
