We had a fantastic weekend at Closeburn House. Steve and Paul were so friendly and welcoming. The property is gorgeous and they have done a wonderful job at renovating, stylish, fresh and very cosy. The breakfast was exceptional and a real highlight. A superb two course breakfast with homemade relishes and banana bread, perfectly cooked eggs too. I would highly recommend Closeburn House for a quiet weekend, it’s a 10 minute drive to Blackheath which has some great restaurants, bars and pubs. Many fantastic walks close by too. Such a wonderful place, will definitely be back!

We both really enjoyed our stay at Kubba Roonga Guesthouse- the guesthouse is a heritage building that was built in 1915 and it has a lot of lovely vintage furniture which makes you feel like you have been transported back in time. My husband and I haven't stayed in a guesthouse before- so this was a really lovely experience for us! You receive lovely and helpful service and we especially liked the communal sitting area. We also had one on of the spa rooms- which was very luxurious and we enjoyed the spa bath every night. The location is also really good as it's walking distance to Blackheath town centre- which has lots of lovely restaurants and cafes I would recommend Thai Silk and Altitude Deli. Chris (the host) was also very accommodating with breakfast and provided me with extra gluten free options (as I am coeliac). The Wifi works but it's not particularly strong and I actually found it was nice and good for my mental health to have a break from social media!!

Not only did she arrange to pick up some delicious pizza (which was still hot and fresh), but had a bubble bath drawn waiting for us too. Perfect after a long day of travel! Melissa was also super accommodating for our dog and provided us with some additional towels to dry him off as it was was raining heavily. The accommodation was immaculately presented and well equipped for a very relaxing stay.

This beautiful studio and its lovely garden (including a secret little spot in the back) felt so Zen. The welcoming touches, flowers, furnishings and accessories, beautiful bathroom products, comfortable bed with quality linens were so lovely - I could go on and on. The host Lynne checked to be sure we had everything we needed. We met her briefly and she was warm and so welcoming. This was a very memorable stay in a charming town with easy and quick access to the wondrous Blue Mountains. If it is available, book it!
