It felt like a little oasis after a day of exploring the Great Wall. We stayed in the family suite, which was spacious and comfortable, offering plenty of room to relax. The highlights of our stay were definitely the unique experiences offered by the hotel—making dumplings with the staff was a fun and memorable activity, and the homemade wines were an absolute treat! This hotel is a hidden gem with amazing staff, a serene atmosphere, and a perfect location for those wanting to experience the Great Wall in a more intimate, local way. Highly recommend!

Situated in Miyun, just 50 metres away from the Great Wall, this friendly hostel features modern architecture, free Wi-Fi and free parking. Nestled in the laid-back Gubeikou Town, the single-storey house would be a warm base to explore the wild Beijing. The property is extremely cute and charming. It’s located very close to the Gubeiku Great Wall entrance. The lady running the place is kind and friendly. There are tiny details in the guesthouse that add to the charm of the place. The food was fresh and delicious. The cherry on the top of the cake were the cats!!

All units in the homestay are fitted with a kettle. Units are fitted with a private bathroom with slippers, while selected rooms also feature a balcony and others also feature mountain views. At the homestay, the units are fitted with bed linen and towels. the stay exceeded my expectations. both hosts are welcoming, enthusiastic, and down to earth. when we arrived, we discussed our travel plans with the hosts and they gave us plenty of helpful suggestions and even offered driving service. after exploring jinshanling the next day, the host picked us up, gave us a quick tour around gubeikou town, sharing the beauty and history of the town, then sent us to the train station. breakfast was authentic and delicious (loved the soy milk, 油炸饼, and 疙瘩汤). overall, this was a wonderful start to our beijing trip, with comfy place, thoughtful hosts, and beautiful surroundings. highly recommend staying here. 10/10.

The property has mountain and inner courtyard views, and is 14 km from Great Wall of China - Jinshan Ridge. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. It was a great stay - room is tydy and comfy with good taste and well thought details. Big capacity water heater ensures a good hot shower, good quality shampoo and shower cream are provided, along with other essential utensils: tooth brushes and paste, shower slippers and room slippers, towels, intelligent toilet etc. Good equality beddings guarantee a good night of sleep. The owner couple are friendly and caring. Transportation can be arranged if you wan to visit JinShanLing greatwall. Last but not the least, the food is homy and yummy. Overall it was a pleasant stay and we will come back.

The guesthouse itself is beautifully decorated, and the cozy café on the first floor is a perfect place to unwind with a cup of coffee. The location is ideal, making it easy to explore local attractions. The warm hospitality and cultural vibe made my experience truly special. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to immerse themselves in Beijing's charm!

Situated in Beijing, 400 metres from Yonghegong Temple and 4 km from the centre, Goodnight hotel in the ancient Hutong features air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi, and a terrace. With city views, this accommodation provides a patio. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, a shared kitchen and luggage storage for guests. The reception staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. We would recommend this stay for people who are backpacking or only need a few nights stay. There are washing machines and a tumble dryer on site which is very useful and the staff will take out the washing for you if you go out for the day. The location is a big plus point to this hotel with Lamas temple a short walk away, restaurants, coffee shops, casual bars and a metro stop. There is facilities to make up some easy food if you wanted to. The room itself is a satisfactory size.
