The lady at the reception desk was very helpful and spoke good English. She recommended some great excursions, including a trip to a tea plantation, which was a fantastic choice. We also rented scooters. Even though it was the first time for us and our teenage daughters, she trusted us, and we had a wonderful time exploring the area on the scooters.

The rooms were very clean and had everything you needed and the best thing was Kate and the people who work there, very generous and kind. She made our stay much easier with her recommendations and attention. Without a doubt an excellent option, we had a great time.

Amazing host, super helpful and friendly. She arranged me a scooter, transportation back to Guilin, always available for all my questions. Room was clean and big, balcony and air conditioner in the room.

Situated not far from Ping’an car park, the hotel is quite easy to get to, free luggage transport from Pingan car park is provided. Even better than the pictures! Perfect location. Fantastic and helpful staff. I wish I had stayed much longer than two nights. I can't overhype this hotel!

Just 5 km from Yangshuo, The Giggling Tree is an unique guest house which is located in the tiny village of Little Mountain Gate. It features traditional farmhouses, a beautiful courtyard and an outdoor swimming pool. Free WiFi access is available. The Giggling Tree was just perfect! It is an amazing hotel - friendly and welcoming, lovely room with amazing views, wonderful staff and restaurant. Laura was simply brilliant and made some great food recommendations. Eating in the quaint courtyard restaurant area was perfect, especially the Beer fish from the Lijiang River! Great dumplings too! And the pool was a nice bonus with fantastic views. Featuring mountain views, Yangshuo Village Inn Boutique Hotel offers accommodation with balcony, around 4 km from Darongshu Scenic Area. With garden views, this accommodation features a patio. There is free private parking and the property provides paid airport shuttle service. Yangshuo Village Inn is not fancy but it had everything we need. The staff were very kind and professional. They were willing to help us with travel tips and suggestions and did not try to make profits out of it. The food was great and good value. We brought wine and they set the wine glasses without charge. The building and the facilities are very well maintained. Our favorite was their bikes that we could rent for free.

Right next to it is the place for rock climbing in Yangshuo. I strongly recommend this hotel.

At the homestay, all units come with bed linen and towels. An Unforgettable Stay I cannot recommend this place enough! This lodge is definitely a true hidden gem. It’s conveniently located at the heart of Yangshuo’s downtown, closed to the famous shopping street, Xijie Street, and all other famous attractions. The rooms are beautifully designed in modern comforts, spacious, and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and most stunning thing is “there is an elevator!!” inside the lodge. We did not have to walk all to way up to 6th floor. We just had more than we expected and needed for a perfect stay. The host is a lovely couple and they are incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with any request. They are also professional tour guides and help planned our itinerary to explore and experience the Yangshuo local attractions. They made us feel like part of the local family and complete our travel effortless. All in all, this lodge is absolutely fantastic. If you are looking for a decent retreat with exceptional services and a genuine local experience, this is the place to be. We’ll definitely be returning!!
