Situated in the countryside, this typical Cantabrian house is set in Herrán, 800 metres from Santillana del Mar historic town and within driving distance from Altamira Caves.

Offering mountain views, each room at Posada Herrán features rustic-style furniture, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. And amazing stay. Very comfortable. Spacious room. Bed and pillows were great. Breakfast was delicious and the view was food for the soul. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Escape to the Spanish countryside to find peace and quiet in the Posada el Corcal de Liébana. A place for good food and pure relaxation in some of Spain's most beautiful countryside. We, a family of five, stayed two nights during August 2024. We loved it. We were sorry to leave. - Generally speaking, the place is nice, clean, well managed - The breakfast is really great - The rooms are nice on the upper floors - Beds quality was very good. - Hotel managent was really kind and helpful to find the trails most suitable for us

Posada La Torre de La Quintana is housed in a listed historical building that breathes an air of nobility and aristocracy, surrounded by the beautiful lush Cantabrian countryside. It also offers apartments located 800 metres from the main building. We stayed at the property for 1 night while walking the Camino Norte. The property is on the route. This is a boutique country inn and really nice. The breakfast was extra but well worth the price. We enjoyed our stay here.

There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service. I loved the hostess! It just breaths family.

There is a restaurant serving Mediterranean cuisine, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. Great location about an hour from Santander port. Lovely lakeside village 10 mins from main motorway. Genuine family run, newly renovated hotel and bar serving great local food. Carlos was a fantastic host who made the stay a pleasure. He speaks great English and nothing too much a problem. Secure yard at rear, ideal for motorbike stopovers. As is the cold beer and tapas! Will definitely use again, what a gem.
